United Way Ghana Programs

United Way Ghana works with both donors and benefactors and is therefore, in a unique position to support the needs of both groups. For many corporate institutions, supporting communities in need is very much part of their corporate social responsibility. United Way Ghana offers services, which can be tailored to fit the level of community investment a corporate body wants to deliver. Similarly, community groups requiring assistance in mobilising resources and acquiring technical training can achieve these goals through United Way Ghanas portfolio of NGO services.

We focus our efforts on interlinked programs addressing the sometimes overlapping community development needs of grass roots NGOs, Corporate citizens, and individuals:

Community Investment Program

Corporate Partners Programming

Share With Your Community  Boa Me Na Me Mmoa Wo

Our objective is to develop partnerships and networks that collaborate to identify community problems and design and execute effective sustainable solutions.

Our core strengths are

  • NGO Capacity Building
  • Technical assistance in program development and management
  • Maximizing ROI for corporate in the Corporate Social Investment programming
  • Fund raising At United Way :

We dont want to just give away more money at NGOs
We want to make sure money is awarded wisely and used wisely

Initiating a partnership with audit and consultancy firms

It is important to note that United Way Ghana seldom if ever provides services directly to the beneficiary. We work with grass roots NGOs and community based organization to strengthen their programming, monitoring, and fund raising. We focus on NGOs working in the areas of health, education, and income generation.
